Members' baggage policies

If you’re an Elite Plus or Elite member, don’t forget there’s an extra allowance. It’s 10kg for Elite members and 20kg for Elite Plus, or one additional bag where the piece concept applies, depending on routing.

Here are some simple tips to make your bag’s journey as smooth as yours:

Check your bags for tags and take old ones off before you fly
Stand out: a bright ribbon, luggage tag or colored strap makes your luggage easier to identify
Name it: including your flight details, destination and a contact number.

Guaranteed reservations

SkyTeam Elite Plus members are guaranteed a confirmed Economy Class reservation on any SkyTeam long-haul flight worldwide, even if the flight is sold out.

Unaccompanied minor service

We take excellent care of your children when they are traveling alone. Unaccompanied minors are personally escorted onto their flight, between connecting flights, and upon arrival. Some of our airlines even offer lounges especially for children. Find out which child-friendly services our members offer.

Single check-in procedures

Check-in once: simply visit the kiosk or counter to select your seats and collect your boarding passes for your first flight -- and for connections on other SkyTeam airlines. All the way through to your final destination.

Travelling with pets
